\u00dcber viele Jahrhunderte hinweg pr\u00e4gte die syrische K\u00fcche viele andere Kulturen und L\u00e4nder des Mittelmeerraumes. Von ihren Reisen brachten die Gesch\u00e4fts- und Seeleute nicht nur Neuigkeiten und Wissenswertes aus der Levante mit, sie kamen auch mit fremden Rezepten, Gew\u00fcrzen, Obst- und Gem\u00fcsesorten zur\u00fcck. FARDI ein neues „Schiff“ aus Ph\u00f6nizien<\/h2>\n

Als eine der \u00e4ltesten Hochkulturen der Antike, beherrschten die Ph\u00f6nizier als Gro\u00dfmacht die Regionen des heutigen Syrien \u00fcber fast 2 Jahrtausende. Sie waren erfolgreiche und geschickte H\u00e4ndler und Seefahrer. Als hervorragende Schiffsbauer befuhren sie mit ihren wendigen Schiffen nicht nur das Mittelmeer, sie nahmen auch bereits Kurs auf Amerika und Asien. Die erste Alphabetschrift haben die Ph\u00f6nizier entwickelt und die erste schriftlich festgehaltene Musiknote haben wir diesem Kulturvolk zu verdanken. Schon vor ca. 7000 Jahren siedelten Menschen in der Umgebung des heutigen Damaskus, sie gilt damit als eine der \u00e4ltesten kontinuierlich bewohnten St\u00e4dte der Welt.<\/p>\n
